I moved in and there was no hot water on my building no they said that the water was out and that it would take a while before it would boil and get hot. The hot water didnt come back in two days and it only lasted for one day... after day we were out of hot water for about 2 weeks no one could tell us when the hot water would be back on and the weather was very cold. Imagine that...

Being in property management I know that legally you can not with hold rent if there is a problem. You may still want to see an attorney to see if you can get out of the lease.
