Dont listen to the crazies!

This place is great! They always listen to my complaints. I had some electrical problems...the breaker kept popping...I asked for a professional electric guy to come out and they sent one right away. For those of you who dont know, they have a bug guy come spray every Wednesday, you just have to go down to the office and request him to come to your apartment. If your nice to the office staff they will be nice to you back. They are not going to listen to you if you are yelling at them. I have lived there for 2 years and the pool is only closed after really bad thunderstorms, or when a hurricane is coming. I do have problems with a leakey roof. I went down and told the office and they sent someone to my apartment within the hour. Oh my A/C also broke on a Saturday afternoon. It was fixed within 3 days. They had to order basically a new one so that took some time. You have to expect some problems when you move into an apartment complex with parking and noise. You have over 300 people living there with you. What do you expect' If you want a guaranteed parking spot and no noise from your neighbors then buy a house.

I'm wondering if this person is a part of the management staff, lucky in their dealings or just blind??? I am a resident, also, and have been living at Mariner's Club, since 2004. We have seen a, definite, decline in management and customer service, to residents. As a matter of a fact, these people are very incompetent. They "loose" your packages, until you force them to go look, AGAIN. They leave earlier than they are supposed to at times. I have gone to the leasing office in the middle of the day and have one of the agents lock the doors, and go to the back and pretend to "be on the property"...I watched her do this through the glass doors, that she locked. We are not one of those people that complains, actually, we've only needed maintenance a handful of times, since we have been living here. With the prior management, there was never any problems and the property was always well kept. Plus, they were polite to the residents and professional. This group will watch you come into the office, stand around waiting for help and just look at you. I have went in to pick up packages and they were sitting in the meeting room area eatting, no one offered to help...I had to ask. Here I was one of the model residents, standing there, holding a postal notice in my hand and no one get up off their lazy behinds to help, willingly. It has been 2 days and I have been trying to get someone to my unit to fix the bedroom door, that has come completely off it's hinges. I KNOW the agent I spoke with put the order in, but maintenance has NOT come to fix it. They were in my building today, and the lazy maintenance didn't come up. I will hire a real PROFESSIONAL handyman to come fix it, and have already notified the office that I'm taking his fee out of October's rent. I am putting this in writing and deliver it to them, as well, they will have until noon tomorrow. We are leaving at the beginning of the year and I can't wait because this management staff SUCKS!!! Plus, I intend to notify the new owners of my displeasure, as well.
