Cliff Notes version: DO NOT MOVE HERE!
Long version: Where to start' When I arrived on my move-in date the front office had no idea I was moving that day. Even though all my application paperwork had specified the date the management wrote the wrong date on the folder that contained my information. Needless to say the apt was not ready: carpet was torn and dirty, roaches were everywhere, the shower head was broken and it smelled. Unfortunately I was moving from out of state and the moving truck was there so I had to move in. It took 3 weeks and repeated calls for the mngmt to fix shower head and several other problems. As for the roaches - SEVERE infestation. I had their bug guy come to my apt 4 times and I still had a problem. I finally got rid of the nasty bugs by going to Wal-Mart and buying a huge jug of Orkin bug killer and spraying the apt myself. I seriously think their bug man was just using water as the roaches pretty much went away after I sprayed. As for the grounds: when I first moved in the mngmt said the gate was only temporarily broken and would be fixed in a month. They lie - it was broken the whole year I lived there and they would tell new residents the same story I was told. The grounds itself went drastically downhill the year I lived there. Trash was constantly everywhere (partly the fault of other irresponsible residents) and young kids ran wild all hours of the night(partly the fault of parents, part the fault of mngmt for not enforcing rules). The walls in the apartment are very thin and there was a SERIOUS mold problem. I lived on the 2nd story and when there was a bad rain the windows and glass sliding doors would leak water. I contacted the mngmt about the problem but they just said that there was nothing they could do b/c it was just the poor construction with the apt. Oh, and I too only got 1 "free massage" the entire year I lived there. So long story short - DO NOT MOVE HERE!
