i have lived here for 2 years. it was very attactive bc of the price, close to school, layout, own bedroom and bathroom, cable/internet included, etc. the first year it was okay. over time, however, it got scary. over the past few months i have been getting many notices on my door telling me about rapes and murders and break-ins that happened the day before. its actually pretty scary. my boyfriends' car was broken into and destroyed despite the fact that the gate people are nazis and u must call and then they have to write down the name, license plate, type/make/yr/color of car. its a LITTLE extreme and the effort doesnt really do anything. there are always broken beer bottles int he street so be careful where u park. the maintanance people are horrible. i was without A/C for 2 weeks last summer. me and my 2 other roomies complained EVERY day. they said that they put in a request and "anyway, the bathroom in the office is clogged and that is a higher priority." HELLO!' its summer!! like alomst 100 degrees! NO AC'! its ridiculous. the managemesnt and ppl in the office just suck., they are always rude and never really knwo what they are doing. thgey had to re-write my lease about 5 times bc they lost it or it wasnt done right. they never cleaned the carpets (which are extremely cheap and look ridiculously dirty when we really havent destoryed them). i cant sleep here at night bc of the noise. constant parties, ppl yelling, fights, its horrible. and its scary to sleep here by myself. i practically run to my car from my apt and lock the doors immediately. the oiffice also loses packages a lot. even tho it may seem like a good deal for the $...when u actually do the math, its not. we are charged $150 for utils for 2 ppl...which i know ppl that live in houses and its not that much. they screw u over and where it looks like ur not really paying for cable and internet and that its "included" well...ya...u are. so honestly, when u figure it out $ wise u can get a better apartment where u can feel safe for the same price.
dont live here...its hell
