I must admit it was once a nice complex. The staff was wonderful, it was peaceful and I felt safe, but later on the trouble started. People hanging out all times of night. Crimes happening on the property and management did not let the residents know. I found out from an officer who said that there was more crime in Mission Pointe than there was in Madison Woods at the time!'!'! Apts and cars being broken into. I feel that if managent cared for the renters this would be brought to their attention. But I guess they were afraid of how many would pack up and go. Money over safety! Someone tried to break into my apartment but for what ever reason they did not make it in, just left the door knob hanging. Needless to say I broke my lease and was slapped with over $5,000 in fees. They said I left the place full of trash etc.... That's the biggest lie ever told. I cleaned the place from top to bottom and took out all items not wanted. I was upset at first but later realized what goes around comes around and no good will come to them for their lies. Also, to let you know how horrible it became, I only had 2 months left in my lease and couldn't take any longer. There are 4 apts on the floor I stayed on 1 neighbor moved a couple months before hand, myself and another moved the same weekend for the EXACT same reasons, so that left only 1 family left on the floor and she was speaking of breaking her lease. I know crime is everywhere, but it makes a world of a difference to live in a compex where management is honest and actually care! Oh don't forget the gate that the residents pay extra for that hardly ever worked!!
