Mission Springs left a bad taste in my mouth! I had a very large apartment for the price. Little did I know that in the 2 years I was there, I would have to have maintenance come out AT LEAST 10 times to patch up (not fix or replace) the ac AND the heating unit. They don't rehab anything and my electric bill was over $300 every month because the the ac would have to run all day while I was at work and nobody was home and when I did get home it was still 90 degrees in the house. They didn't replace that old a** unit until I was about to move out! The heat went completely out and when I called emergency maintence (who was on call), he told me he lived 20 minutes away and refused to come fix my heat in 30 degree weather over night! The manager has the nastiest attitude in the place and the assistant manager was a little young girl with a nasty attitude until I put her in her place! The most pleasant person there was a lady we all called Miss Linda, but they fired her because she was nice to the residents! The vents held mold all around them and the closet where the heat and a/c blew through the main vent ducts was seperated from the wall so the maintenance man came and taped that up over and over again until they finally had to get contractors to come replace it! The complex has an overload of stray cats that they claim they can't do anything about so they just jump on cars and scratch them up with their claws, but the office feeds everyone a bunch of BS about how there's nothing they can do! Before I moved I counted at least 35 strays with kittens! When I first moved in I dropped my keys outside my front door by accident. When I discovered they were gone I searched for them and contacted the office. They didn't send maintenance to change the locks until the next day. By then, somebody had come into my apartment around 5:30 that morning and left the door open when they ran out and dropped the keys in the house by the front door! Then maintenance wanted to argue with my daughter about how no one actually came in and although the office told him to add a door knob lock, he refused to do it. Then when he added a hotel lock, up top, we couldn't even shut the door AT ALL!! I had to raise hell at the office and the maintenance supervisor had to come and complete the job of the incompentent maintenance man! And to make matters worse. This was a totally different maintenance man from the one who refused to come fix my heat!!!!! Run........ Run like the wind!!!!!!!!!!
