These apartments are badly managed, and only care about money! Management has a condescending attitude toward loyal tenents that pay full rent monthly and abide by the rules. The first time I saw my apt there were problems that were told to me would be taken care of before the actual move in was to take place. I moved in on a Saturday and the problems were still there, along w' new ones. The first two refrigerators put in my apt lasted a day before they stopped working. The only way I would have been reimburst for my food loss is if I would have kept the food to show them? Who do you know is gonna keep bad food from Saturday just to show the office on Monday. I'm @ work before the management staff #1, and by the time I get home they're gone. The master bedroom had a hole in the wall (the size of your fist), I stuffed a sock in it and had to wait 1 week before it was fixed. Dry wall was on my pillow and on the carpet when I returned home to see the job that was done. Also there was no window in the same room, I had to put a closet door in front of the window to keep out bugs until Monday. Although spacious w' a cheap deposit.... 5 months after moving in I came home from work w' a note on my door. It said I had a balance of over $200 in which I owed for late rent from months before? (New Management had taken over) I faxed every stub & reciept to them. After 2 wks of waiting for a call from the offfice, I called them and requested an explanation to find out that they actually owed me money. No apology or explanation was given. Then I had problems w' the interior of the apt.OMG It took 4 months for someone to finally begin doing something about it. Finally I called the city, due to tricks in the lease, they could not help. Management was very rude to me during this ordeal (They would tell me one thing, then do anotherand wouldn't put anything in writing). The damage was so severe the apts had to eventually seal up my bedroom for 2 weeks. No reimbursment for paid rent nor apologies were given to me and my children at this time. I had to sleep on my sofa, which was very upsetting for family members watching me go through all of this. My rent was over $600. Everytime I'd ask them to attend to a problem w' the inside or outside of my apt, I was treated as if I was the problem. After confronting the Corporate Manager in person w' my mother, it was very evident what the problem was. Management was taking every request I made for better living circumstances personal. There are pools in these apts, I was told would be ready for resident use in the Summer. It never happened. Then new management took over and said, the Spring (2009). I seriously doubt they care if we stay or go, it's all about the money.
