The oaks is not too bad of a place to live. I will admit, it was a lot better when I moved here 2 years ago. Michelle is a great leasing agent-anytime I had a problem I knew I could go to her and she would do the best she could.There's another agent in there and she is rude. There are a lot of kids that run around late at night (I work a lot of hours so I try to get as much sleep as possible), and people play their music loud when driving around the complex. The lighting needs to be improved in the parking lots. I did have a neighbor who would have parties with drugs-you could smell the pot when you walked by their door. I never said anything our of fear, but it's been better since they've moved out. There has been vandalism of the workout and laundry rooms-the code to the laundry room was changed without telling anyone and the office didn't open til 1:00 since it was a Sunday. The maitnence is not horrible, but does need a improvement. Their response time is slow and when they do respond,it's too late at night. They have called about a request that I have made at midnight! New management has taken over this complex and I hope they can do some improvements. Overall, it's not a bad starter apartment as long as they make improvements
