when i wrote this part i had just......moved in 2 months ago from an apartment on the NORTHSIDE of Jax. It was only $60 less for 800 sq ft of living space and was constantly having to call the cops for drug deals going down and loud music and kids runnng wild in the streets. THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN HERE AT THE PADDOCK CLUB!! I have a 2 br 1 ba apartment that is well over 1100 sq ft, nice screen porch, fireplace, built in GRILL in my kitchen, and a JACUZZI tub in my huge bathroom!! Gates are broken from time to time when the HOODLUMS FROM OUTSIDE want to come in, but they are fixed w/in 24 hours. I dont know about who was in the office before April of 2006 when I moved in, but my office staff have been NOTHING SHORT OF WONDERFUL. I plan on staying here quite a while!! :)
******UPDATE******* I am now looking for a new apt complex. I like where I am but at the price,I can find a newer place with better & fancier ammenities. I have been here since Mar 06 and my lease is up in 2 mos. I have NEVER had a maitenance issue unattended to, never had "ghetto" neighbors, and NEVER had to call the cops on anyone. I live in bldg 11- and its nice back here- even though its part of phase 1. My rent went from 849 to 885 now going to 940. At that price I can move across town into a 2 br for about $200 LESS. Face it people, Jax is running out of quality apts that are both SAFE, value conscientious, and kept up on a regular basis. I am only leaving b/c they wont negotiate with me in downgrading to a 1 br, I know they ask us for help recruiting new people, but wont offer the current residents a deal for them to resign a lease. I'm going and hope you all staying harp on the staff to START giving breaks to current residents b/c the ones who PAY their rent on time and NEVER have complaints made by or against deserve a little credit. Im off to a NEW complex on the Northside....
