I agree this place is nice to live in, looks great. However, I have never experienced such high move-in fees in my life. The deposit($350) is extremely high along with the insanely high pet fee($350! Then you have the hidden monthly fees like gas, sewage and trash. They just never tell you about them before you move in.

yeah, who'd expect to have deposits and fees upon move in, and then have to pay utilities? you really got shafted there....*rolls eyes*

what gas? there is no gas. all the apts in jacksonville and probably most of the state, are electric only. soil is not conducive for underground gas lines. what?...you think sewage and trash removal is always free? think again. you would not be complaining if you lived here in Maryland. an apt. at this price would not be where you would want to live. that's why i'm retiring and moving to jacksonville.

you got some learning to do. there are tons of places in jax that are gas. including the paddock club which is were i am. half the apt's are gas and half are electric.

Total move in costs for me and one other person is going to round out about $1600. A total of $800 in fees for the both of us (application fee other fees) along with the first month's rent. And I can also confirm that this apartment has gas appliances as well as electric.

I only paid $150 for move in costs, and I was told about the extra 15 bucks for garbage and pest control, they must have a better staff now. You just gotta catch them on the specials or look in an apt. guide for discounts.
