Ive been reading over several apartment reviews and Ive yet to come across an apartment review with out some complaints, which leads me to believe that there is no PERFECT place to live. That being said, Ive lived here since May 2007 and I feel this is a good place to live. Do we have gate problems' Yes, but that because everytime they fix them, kids from the neighbor behind us or stupid drivers that tailgate, breaks them. No matter where you live, you will have to deal with inconsiderate neighbors. But whats important is that the girls in the office are great. They have always been accomodating. When I call the office for something, they never make me feel like Im a bother. The maintenace guys are fast, my requests have always been handled the same day or the next day. The floor plans are nice and big ... and its in a great location. My lease is up and unfortunately I will be moving, but its due to the economy and my finances ... not because of any problem here. The only negative thing i would say is ... we have a Courtesy Officer (JSO) here, but Ive never seen him do anything (no patrolling, no safety meetings, havnt introduced himself to the tenants) ... he's just here. I hope my opinion helps someone to make a choice. Thanks.

I agree with you about the pool having to be shut down to be cleaned. Also, I remember the tires being taken off of some of the cars (that can and did happen in other apartment complexes around town as well). As far as the other problems you mentioned ... I guess I was just lucky enough not to have encountered them. BTW ... Congrats on your house.

ok so what about last year when all of the cars were getting there tires stolen and left on blocks??? My next door neighbor got there house broken into by some random people and stole pretty much everything they had. What about the kids running up and down each and every hallway knocking on doors. Yes the office staff are great. I was pregnant at the same time as the manager and one of the other girls. They always came out to the pool area to chat with me when I would take my son swimming. But they arent there 24 hours a day. They dont have to deal with what goes on at night there. Maintenance is also good. I only had one problem with my garbage disposal and they came out right away and fixed it. Floor plans are big we had a 3 bedroom. But the walls and ceilings are paper thin. You can not pick and choose who lives above or next to you. The people above us obviously were sleeping during the day but were up until 5-6AM every night vaccuuming, dribbling a basketball, running around with there dog. also if at any time we were out past 9pm we had to park on the other side of the complex it was ridiculous. Our 3 bedroom was 1400sf and cost us 1007 a month. I now live in a brand new 3 bedroom HOUSE 1800sf for 950 a month. Also snakes kept coming onto my porch at least once a week. I know they have a water moccosin problem. thank god one of them never came onto my porch but they did come into the breezeway. Yes you are right about the gate too. They would fix them and 2 days later you would see the wood piece in half b/c some impatient idiot would run into it. (those idiots also happen to live in the complex). Lets talk about the pool in the summer. Its hot there and like me I like to swim to cool off. Well a bunch of people would go tot he pool saturday and then you werent able to go in again until they cleaned it which sometimes took 5 days. The pool would look like its covered in grease and have lots and lots of bugs in it and it was green. So no I do not recommend living here. You can find a much better place for alot less money.
