a little taste of my experience with the palms... within three weeks, the main water pipe coming into the unit (which is exposed in the hallway closet) broke and water went everywhere. there was well over 2000 gallons of water to be sucked out because the message was not relayed to the maintence staff with any kind of priority. we thought this was bad enough, but oh no. between myself and my roommate (females) we had to find a way move all of the furniture across the apartment complex which was supposed to be a temporary situtation (maybe a week the office manager says). we ended up living there amongst the worst part of the apartment complex, cars driving by with loud music throughout the night, very suspicious looking neighbors. it was at least a month of demanding the cement to be dry, carpet and padding to be replaced, walls repainted and moldy floor boards to be replaced before we could return to our apartment. even after all the demands the apartment still looked like a disaster, but we had to move in regardless because they rented out the apartment we were "temporarily" in.
besides the worst living experience of my life, the washer/dryer "combo" never works, even after repeated messages to the office staff. the bathrooms are at best a disgrace because the paint is chipping in the tubs from being painted over many times. the office staff have extremely bad attitudes and never relay messages to the maintence staff (however the maintence staff gets a high five for always being there and doing the job right the first time). oh yeah and a truck was stolen right out of the parking lot- great security gates (which are never closed).
overall, do not live here, great prices but not worth it.
