roaches and big ass ants!

I lived here for only 2 months and I have seen more roaches here then ever in my life! And then there are big ass steroid ants that I have no idea where they are coming from. AND the gate is never closed. dont know how safe that is. AND just the whole structure of the apartment is terrible. The walls look like that have been patched up a million times. overall, I have a small dog and I'm afraid that I will come home one day and the roaches and ants will be carrying him out the door!
