Everyone makes mistakes. Mine was moving to the palms. As a college student who moved to the palms because of the cheap price, I was unaware that I would be moving in with roomates. My roomates included disguisting full size roaches, the kind that could survive a nuclear blast. The place is more than dirty, there is years of mold that was painted over in the kitchen and bathrooms. It's not only gross, its unhealthy. The only nice reviews written on here are by the staff that works there, don't be fooled. I know that for a FACT. Speaking of the staff..there is one really nice girl, i'll be honest, she was very helpful. The guy however, told me of his midnight escapades upon first meeting me, saying he couldn't help me alot that day because he was hungover (it was nothing a Christian girl wants to hear). This place is far from anywhere a sound-minded human being with a common need for safety would live. I was called everything the spanish dictionary contains in regards to derogatory language a male could call a female. Guess my neighbors didn't know I spoke spanish. Unless your car is so dilapitated that you would like it stolen, beware of parking anywhere near the complex. Numerous amounts of cars are continuously broken into and stolen. I am not on here writing to complain; just simply warn anyone who finds themselves looking for affordable living and sees the low price, thinking the palms might be an okay place to stay. If I could warn off one person from staying away from the palms, I would sleep better at night, because I would then know that person was much safer. Please, Please don't make the mistake I did.
