We used to live in the Preserves, the newer apts. in the back and loved it. The only reason we moved is b/c of the highly increasing rent each year. We moved in Nov. of 2001, and renewed our lease the second yr. only b/c they increased it by $20. At the end of the second year they were going to increase the rent by $89, and we were flabbergasted;) actually very dissapointed b/c although we enjoyed it here, it was a ridiculous increase in rent that we weren't willing to pay. End of that story;

The apts. are spacious, they spray for insects monthly, you had an activated alarm for a one time fee of $10, they threw in a garage when we first moved in, the grounds look like paradise; first thing that turned us on to this place. It has a nice gym including free weights (biggest I've seen in any apt. comm. around Jax. Although we loved it while it lasted, we found an even better community across the street, better rates and even has a garage included w/ every apartment. Landscaping is gorgeous. Now, that place feels truly like home!

Oh, yah, many of our friends live in the older apts. and those places are really ------. They need alot of work.
