Honestly, where do I begin' How about I start with the day we signed the lease and found out that the apartment we had agreed on was not the same one we were put into' Or the day we went to move in the apartment was incredibly dirty and there were claw marks on every door in the place' Then, of course, there are the numerous phone calls to maintenance that were never ever returned (so you know we have lived over 8 months with no ice-maker, a broken garbage disposal, and a hot water heater that doesnt keep the water hot). I should also mention the parking or lack thereof. Though I believe nothing really tops the lack of safety because every woman in the world wants to come home to find all of the lights out outside her entire building and find several men just hanging out on the stairs. And let us not forget the sounds of dogs barking, kids screaming, and radios thumping (both from your neighbors and their cars). If any of the above mentioned things sounds like paradise then welcome home. Otherwise, keep looking, the convenient location is not worth any of the hassles provided at this so-called Paradise Island.
