We have lived in PI for a little over 6 mos and have had no problems. the staff is nice, the apartments are spacious and we haven't had any problems with neighbors. I would and have recommended PI to anyone looking for affordable, nice apartments on the southside.

I lived in PI for one year and for the most part, agreed with your review. Please know, however, that you can never leave. If you do, you will be sucked dry for every penny that you own. Paradise Island is running the biggest scam that I've run across. Just make SURE that you do a walk-through with the apt manager prior to leaving the premises. They will absolutely screw you otherwise, and will probably try to anyway. Good luck....

I moved out of P.I. the end of May 2006 two months before my lease expired. Per state law they could not charge me any early termination fees. This information was provided to my by the office staff. I was ready to pay 2 months rent to get out of my lease plus forfeit my deposit. I only forfeited my 200.00 deposit, however they applied that toward carpet cleaning fees (which they rightly deserved since my cat had completely soiled the carpet). Total move out cost was $185.00 |
