Pos: Great floor plans, maintenace is fast and good at their job, staff is friendly, great view if you live on the backside of the woods, awesome pools and fitness center, very homey interior (I have an end unit, fireplace, vaulted cielings, new carpet.
Neg: There seems to be no breed restrictions and there are too many huge, dangerous dogs running around without leashes. There is dog poop EVERYWHERE! Dogs barking ALL the time. The breezeways could be kept cleaner.
If this community lowered there rent by a hundred bucks or so they would be awesome. They should also restrict breed and weights of the dogs.
Overall, Ive been pretty happy, but am moving so I can afford a 3 bedroom.

I have a rottweiller.I can't speak for other dog owners but it's very hard to find an apartment here if you have what is considered an aggressive breed. These dogs are given bad reputations for bad owners around the world. There are only four apartments here in jacksonville with no breed restrictions. And for you to say that they need to have one is ridiculous. Not everyone is willing to let there dog go for an apartment.

then keep the dog on a leash!I have a 2 year old daughter and I get increasingly sick and tired of unleashed dogs running after her and she gets scared, so I have to hold her and I am not a very tall person-the dog jumps at me. I am afraid one of these days, the dog will leap at me hard enough to knock both me and my daughter to the ground. And all we wanted was to go to the pool...THINK ABOUT THAT!

Most people know that dogs sense fear and if you grab up the child and freak out then of course they will act in defense. And I'm sure that if the dog was truly dangerous then the owner would keep it contained for fear of it harming someone and a lawsuit (in case you don't watch the news, there have been a few lately). Maybe you shouldn't let your child run around with no supervision...like the other commenter says this is one of four places that allow all dogs so why don't you go to one of the other hundreds of apartments in jax!

I currently live here and agree with the previous statement about the dog poop. I have a dog and always clean up, but most others do not. I you walk around on the grassy areas count on cleaning your shoes off. I wish they would put some dog clean up bags around maybe people would get the hint.
