I have been living at Paradise Island now for a year. I just renewed my lease for another year! The staff here is absolutely wonderful and charming. Everyone from the Leasing Office to the maintenance staff. I always get a hello from my neighbors. I have never had any problems. The turn around time and courtesy for a maintenance request is the quickest. Also, the grounds here are truly like living in Paradise! I recommend this apartment community to anyone wanting a great place to live!

I don't know what part of Paradise Island you are living at, but it must not be the one on Southside Blvd. The leasing office employees are rude...I had to wait 15 mins for someone to acknowledge that I was standing in the lobby (mind you there were other people waiting for pickup as well) so I could pick up a UPS package. Good maintenance...are you kidding. My dryer and A/C has been broken multiple times this year and all they do is kick it (seriously I saw him kick the unit) and tighten some screws and they say its fixed. 2 weeks later I have to put in another request for them to fix it again. The ground here are not "like living in Paradise." I do not know how many times the pools have been closed because they do not clean them. people do not pick up after their dogs. and people will put their trash on their car and forget about it when they drive off...and it sits in the road until someone from maintenance happens to drive by. I see trash laying around my apartment...but again it could just be because of my neighhors. I wish I had nice neighbors like you. Mine are dirty, rude, loud and leave things on the stairs and in the walkways. It looks like a garage sale is going on and the staff lets them get away with it. To me the staff is disregarding the rules of the lease by letting them do this. My lease is up in 3 months and I am moving out fast! There are places that are far better and I am going to find one that is actually worth the money I am paying to this place.

well... I also have lived here for a year or so.. and I cant say I have any complaints. My ac was leaking, they fixed it the next day. My toilet was broken, they fixed it the same day i called. As far as neighbors... I think it may depend on what part of the complex you live on... well besides the fact it has over 700 apartments.. and you cant pick your neighbors. lol. I work for JSO and there always tends to be way more noise complaints and etc in the first 2 stages.. possibly cause they are cheaper?

i've lived here a year and a half and its not all that bad. we haven't had anything break and only had to call maintenance once. however, we have SEVERE mold in our storage closet outside (the whole ceiling is black). our roof had leaked and we hadn't gone in there a while. ALL of my books were ruined as well as many of my other things. we are also getting mold where it had leaked in our apartment, near the fireplace. also, there is mold on our vents in the master bedroom. im pretty sure they'll have to move us to another apartment. other than that, we've had no issues.
