I've lived here for quite sometime, since they were practically built in 2004/2005, and I can tell you that NOW, since new owners have taken over, NO ONE IN THE OFFICE (WHITNEY) or MANAGEMENT in Maitland, FL gives ********* about the place! Drugs are not only abundant if you need them but the activity connected with them is rampant. If smoking them bothers you (i.e. pot smoke, etc.) then you are very much out of luck because, again, NO ONE CARES in the office no matter what you tell them regarding any situation going on in your building or the hallways in the other buildings! They were truly a great complex to live in "once upon a time",but many of the "good tenants" have moved out,even the ones that, although they were in the lower income bracket they "CARED" how they lived and how their lives and activites affected those around them in their building and the entire complex. But, the majority just could NOT take the goings on anymore! Terrible thing! Also, I have to agree with the person who wrote about hearing through the walls. I too heard my neighbors having sex when I frirst moved in, it was a hoot!!!! (but I honestly did get tired of being awakened almost every night w/someone just a whailing, lol!) I just started turning my television on in my bedroom at night and then when they would start up I would turn it up so I could NOT hear their passion, all of it as you really DO hear everything! Also, the manager, Whitney is truly one of the most unkind, nasty, rudest managers I have EVER come across in the apartment realm and I have lived in well over 15 apartments since I was 17 years of age! I won't say times have changed and give her that excuse as her "out" for being so hateful because it wasn't "that" long ago I had another manager and she was nothing like this one. This one truly needs to find a heart somewhere as she is hateful and indifferent beyond any words in the American language! I would keep searching for an apartment if I were you because I have a good feeling about these apartments soon going belly up possibly, even though there are many tenants now, I base my feeling on the fact you still need good management. This new management sucks so far and so does the manager! AND FORGET MAINTENANCE, GOD HAVE MERCY ON YOU SHOULD YOU HAVE AN EMERGENCY AS THEY DO NOT EVEN GIVE OUT THE REAL PHONE NUMBER TO CONTACT ANYONE AFTER HOURS, AT LEAST IF IT IS THE CORRECT NUMBER NO ONE EVER ANSWERS YOUR EMERGENCY AFTER HOURES CALL! That is a fact! I invite you to come over and take a poll on how pleased those that live here are w/management, maintenance, the complex, etc. The ONLY thing I can comment on as a positive is rent (to a certain degree) as I have to agree w/the other person on here, I too have been forced to rent a washer and dryer and when I asked before renting if it could be removed the answer was a FLAT NO! It cost an additional $40 per month to rent them, at least for me. They also tell you they only go up "less than $10.00" each year, another lie. I could go on but I feel (and hope) I've gotten my point across. Good thing pot and crack don't bother me, 'cause as I'm writing this that's all I can smell! My days are few left here and I'm very glad.

What building are you in? I'm in #2 and I have none of those problems. Maybe except for the -------- who moved in and are now hanging out outside every night (as they always do).

So, as to the post about the maintenance, i never have a problem with it... It is one of the best crews I have ever seen... Everytime I have a problem, there are always there... The same day I call in the work order... Love the maintenance crew...
