When I first moved into Pinebrook it was ok. I had a one bedroom apartment apartment, soon after I got my apartment my mother moved into a one bedroom as well. Her apartment was horrible. The air conditioning unit leaked really bad, the maintaince man came out to fix it said it was fixed but when he left it was still leaking and to top that off I almost sliped and fell when walking into the bathroom but I caught myself, I should have let myself fall so I could have sued, but after the maintance man came out and "fixed the AC unit" the carpet guy came out later that day to redo the carpet because it was soaked with water, which I never understood because the AC unit was still leaking so that did no good at all, and it continued to leak even after we moved out. My mother and I decided to move into a two bedroom together. We wanted an upstairs apartment away from all the kids that played in the parking lot, which was a nighmare because they would never get out of the way when trying to park. Anyways, they had two available one upstairs and one downstairs, they said they could not give us the one upstairs because some girls were THINKING of moving into the upstairs apt., which by the way they never did and we ended up with the one downstairs from that one. We then had at least 2 other neighbors in the upstairs apartment that were very loud all hours of the day and night. On top of that the Manager made us pay an additional $500.00 just to move into a 2 bedroom. I never recieved my deposit back from the one bedroom I had and my mother only recieved half of her deposit from her one bedroom. The apartment was roach infested very badly, the fridge leaked not only in the two bedroom but my mothers one bedroom as well. Our mexican neighbors (i dont have anything against --------) who didnt speak any english would stand on our porch, come to our door and try to make their way into our apartment for what reason is beyond me but I have an idea, and they would always be outside drinking beer and listening to very loud music and we would always have their beer bottles all over our porch. The Manager was rude to us all the time and spoke to us like we were idiots. The laundry room was disgusting, the maintaince crew sucked, the parking in our area....well lets just say if you didnt get home before 2pm you wouldnt get a parking spot close to your apartment. The kids ran around our apartment till god knows what time, and my mother and I worked at night so we had to sleep during the day and we never really got much sleep. We then decided to move out and went to the office and signed a termination of lease, and the manager never told us that there was going to be a termination fee, so now I have creditors calling me telling me that I owe the apartment complex for a terminaton fee. It was like the manager was trying to suck us dry for every penny we had. I hated that apartment complex and would never ever refer them to anyone. And believe me there is a lot more I could say about Pinebrook Apartments.
