I was pregnant with my first child when they renovated and changed names from Westminster to Planter's Wort, I mean, Walk. Our AC unit caught on fire in JULY and it took weeks and many visits to the office to fix. I was awakened one morning, without warning, by bulldozers tearing the facade off of my townhouse and spent the next few months and few weeks of my child's life dealing with holes punched in my walls by the workers, the water being shut off for hours with no warning and neighbors straight out the ghetto complete with loud music and foul attitudes. I had to cancel my baby shower and was told to sleep in the clubhouse so that I could rest during the last months of my pregnancy. We told them in February AND March that when our lease was up we were moving and they kept our deposit, at first saying we never gave them notice. When that didn't work because I kept copies of all paperwork from them, they tried to say we trashed the apartment when we left. I have never dealt with such incredibly unprofessional trash and will cheer when I see the apartment complex torn down and turned into a parking lot or dealership as I am sure it will one day be. I am now approaching my fourth year of residence in a much better apartment with wonderful landlords. That rat trap is hardly worth your money.
