UGH! ROACHES EVERYWHERE!!! AND MOLD!

I just moved into here just a few days ago. Now I'm screwed and living in this ---- hole for the next year! Ugh! Counted at LEAST 70 roaches in there the night we moved in. Went to the office the next morning, talked to the property manager about the roaches and all the problems, still no one has come to fix them except for the door! Going back to the office again in the morning. There are nice residents here and there are ones you really don't want your kids around.

Hot air from neighbors drier pumps into my apartment, front door would not shut and lock (they fixed that), roaches out the ***, sliding door does not lock without braces weight against door, hard to open close, new carpet put in before we moved in (great) but carpet tacks sticking up (bad with a 10 month old crawling around getting stabbed or us walking around barefoot). smaller bedroom of two has window that does not seal so more hot air. water damage to one window seal. Mold everywhere, the tub had mold behind the chalking and they tried to spray paint it over...yuck! can you say staff infection' they are sending someone tues morning to "refinish the tub" which has a mat glued down to the floor of it with gunk growing on it, possibly a crack underneath the mat due to sqeaking of tub'.

More stuff but the list is too long. I rent a two bedroom one bath with w/d connections for $635 a month. Great price, crapy place. Woudl be nice is management actually took care of their residents' Place was really dirty upon move in. Still have not gotten mail box keys and one gate key does not work which I returned to office.

Sadly, it is not the leasing agents who are at fault, I have ONLY dealt with the property manager from being shown the apartment down to coming into the office for complaints. The guys who came to fix the front door were very nice and polite, but the manager really needs to get in gear.

Stay clear- learn form my mistake. May I suggest something like Auburn Glenn apartments- cause thats where I'm going as soon as this place is done.

PS I've been here now since Wed of this last week...still roaches almost one week later....

More pictures and roach videos is you want to see for yourself. You can e-mail me at pikncash@yahoo.com

Man do I remember. We were there for 1 to 2 years. I hate to tell you this yet I know people who literally had to find another place...forget Pointe Sienna as a reference if you have to and forget their jail house lease ... get another place you suggested (or Hunter's Way--fantastic! New appliances by Whirlpool) and then go forward with your lives. WRITE everything down so if you do have to leave you have a record to tell future apartment situations. Get it notarized free at your bank to verify date. That's what other's had to do. Wait until you see people coming from everywhere to use the pool that is not cleaned or drained. I mean everywhere but Pointe Sienna. Wait until you get your $130 and up electric bills (that's running the air conditioner very little). Wait until you have illegal people living near you, you tell the office and they do nothing for three months. Wait until you hear gunshots (hopefully not) from locals to your south (a couple of murders). Wait till you get vandalized (our new car still has dents). I HOPE THIS DOESN'T HAPPEN to you. I tell you that the staff are VERY deceptive. Unless it's changed the last 10 months... They can't be trusted because they are there for themselves...NOT you. Good luck and thank you for your input. If you have any questions feel free to e-mail me. We know the previous staff who were there as well. Yes, the maintenance guys are reasonable (Is John still there? {caucasion with black hair}) yet they have to make everything happen with hardly any budget and shoe string things together. They have no choice. You still do and if you do run for a better deal without filling your lease, get your desired place first WITHOUT TELLING THEM A WORD. Others had to do this. DON'T GIVE THEM A FORWARDING ADDRESS. I can't stress this enough because they are vindictive. Of course you will lose the deposit. Enough said.

I feel sorry for you, I am too a past resident of the ROACH MOTEL. You need to contact Fair Housing, renters have rights too. So take advantage of it, they may even be able to help you got out of the lease. And the manager, she really sucks. Lets felons move in, had a murder on property who was a house keeper there, and I believe a drug dealer. Maintenance sucks, or I should say John and the rican do, the Philipino guy tries his hardest with little or no help from anyone. Management lets residents take total control over the pool, and have it reserved for private parties. And the second pool is never opened. You should all put our rent money in escrow or contact Fair Housing, advertising 2 pools and only one opened is against Fair Housing laws. Like I said the manager Karen sucks, Mario smells of alcohol, Jessica is family.

I wanted to let everyone know we moved out at the end of January. The tub had started leaking, so much so that it could not drain fast enough. My 1 y/o daughter almost drowned in mid Jan. They were told about the leak numerous times. Its sad that they are so full of themselves that they will let problems go this far. To the staff at Pointe Sienna, look at where you work! Granted I was stupid enough to move there, but hell try looking at nicely managed places with their tenents in mind not your cig breaks. The manager looks some days like she is trying to sell herself out there. Slutty dress attire for a manager of a facility. The pool were digusting all the time, but kids were banned form using the one by the office according to the newsletter. The pot holes and sinkholes aruond the proerty could really do serious damage to a vehicle! Enough said...don't live there...
