Living at Portofino was an aweful experience. I constantly had to listen to other people's parties, parking was a pain in the ass, construction was terrible. Yeah, the exterior walls were solid concrete... but in interior walls were some low-grade sheetrock and a few studs. In the three-bedroom, there was a huge section of wall without studs. You could push the whole wall back-and-forth. The office ------- are a pain to deal with. They charged me $900.00 for "wear and tear" on the cheap carpet. Parking was fine-- as long as you were home by 5 or so... any later then that and you had to park pretty far away. Maintenance was slow and they did poor work. After 6 months I had to start making threats that I would fix some problems myself and deduct the cost from the rent.
Don't move into Portofino. You will be sorry. Portofino has a very low retention rate--- I can see why.
Oh-- and the pool always looks a little green-ish and there is ALWAYS a nice greasy film on the surface of the water.
