Nice enough to stick around for 2 years

I lived here for two years and my overall experience was good enough that I'm considering moving back. There are pros and cons to this place, just like any other. I'll start with the negative stuff first.
Yes, parking is total crap and if you get home any later than 10pm, forget about finding a space near your apartment. As a tiny, single girl living alone, I didn't like that too much. Oh, and don't even think about parking on the curb because you'll wake up to a large, hideous, bright pink sticker on your windshield. But hey, rules are rules. The rumors about Gina are true, she's a raging b*itch- very rude and unprofessional. Danielle was very sweet though and most of the other girls were decent (keep in mind what they do for a living- how happy would you be on a daily basis') There was an attempted break in to my apartment once about 4 months before I moved out, some sort of idiot must have been the culprit though because they didn't get in, so I guess that's good. Pretty sure it was my shadey neighbor. I had some weird neighbors but overall my neighbors were cool. There were some water spot/mold problems but they were fixed quickly.
Ok, now for the good stuff. I rarely had issues with noise, but I was a college student so I wasn't too bothered by it anyway. Sometimes I could hear my neighbors loud bass, or a bad arguement, but that was about it. Overall, VERY quiet. The grounds were pretty decent, the poop station for the dogs is really nice. However the "whirlpool" is a joke and I think has since been filled in with concrete. The pool is pretty nice when the fire ants aren't eating your arse. Overall, I felt pretty safe. There could have been more lighting, and I think they added some, but I never felt like I was in any danger. The walls are weird for hanging things.... and NOTHING can go in the ceiling, but I never had any construction problems except my towel rail fell down a lot. The maintenance staff was always very considerate and responsive. Butch and Ben were always available to help when things broke. I really have no complaints about maintenance, just a suggestion- make friends with them, they're nice guys. :) Like I said, staff was overall pretty good, just tell Gina to jump up your butt if you need to. Overall, I enjoyed living here. No place is perfect and all things considered, I had a good experience here. I left right after the new managment took over (late July), so things could have changed. Go scout around and see.
