I actually live here and got approved no problem. (I even have bad credit - so they must go on a judgment call when approving applicants). Anyways my gripe about this place is that it takes them FOREVER to fix anything. Well with only 2 maintenance workers how could you keep over 230 apartments in tip-top shape' It took over 4 months for them to fix something in my apt. that needed replacing. I don't think they wanted to replace it so they swore to me that is wasn't broken. Well, this item had to do with water - so over time it attracted sewer gnats. Which migrated all over the rest of the apt. And I have an infant. Which this not only lead to the bug problem but as with anything dealing with water - you get musty and mold and mildew. Which at the same time - Regency lakes got an audit of their paperwork - and one of the items missing in everyones records was a Mold/mildew sign-off sheet. Saying we were responsible for it. I never signed. To continue with mold at the same time as my first problem, I had another - my ceiling was leaking whenever there was a hard rain. No one looked at it. Let see its SEPTEMBER and all this started in JANUARY!
The pisser is this is a great location - close to everything - but too many headaches. And the management belittles you when you call with a problem.
To hit another topic - no one who lives here can drive. They even run into parked cars - all the time. My 2 cars got hit 3 times since April. If you value your possessions you work hard for - don't leave them here!

This person failed to mention that she was required to pay a higher security deposit in order to live there maybe because the management tries to work with people who have issues with their credit. Maybe this person is right...that she is just trash and didn't deserve to be given a chance to repair her credit. This person probably even pays their rent late every single month. In addition, if these comments regarding repairs are correct, what mother would allow an infant to remain in an apartment full of gnats and mold/mildew. Sounds like someone should call HRS on her! Concerning her vehicles being hit, she failed to mention that she too hit someone's car. It was an accident, as I am sure the damage that ocurred to her vehicles were also. Unfortunately, accidents happen. What could the management possibly do about that?? Would Walmart be responsible for damages if someone hit your vehicle in thier parking lot?? If this person was so concerned with all the problems at Regency Lakes and the health of her child, then why did she just renew her lease for yet another year beginning in August 2005. Sounds like this is just another example of someone blaming everyone else for their own problems.
