I read the other reviews and I can say that I totally disagree. I live in the biggest 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment with a fire place. i love it. i look at square footage when i get apartments and i think that the price fits the size. but better than others. i've never had a maintenance problem that never got fixed, but i can say that if i did have a problem, they come out to fix it quick. i live upstairs and i can jump up and down as hard as i can, and the neighbors below me can not hear me. i think that is good. i never heard my next door neighbors t.v., which i have in other complexes. it's always quiet where i am. i have a 6yr old and I don't feel this place is unsafe. The only thing I could see is the fact that we are adjacent to a major street, so I wouldn't want him to play outside, unless i was out there. The location is perfect. I am 5mins from everything. And i mean everything! The management is wonderful, always willing to help when needed. Now as far as the other review goes about parking..........well my car was hit once, but that can happen anywhere any place. If they was hit 3x's then maybe it's the way their parking. Ever thought about that! But like I said, I never had a problem and no complaints. I disagree with a review saying that it's ghetto. maybe it's just where you were and your neighbors, but i rarely see mine. and i mean rarely.

This person must be talking about a different Regency Lake because for one there aren't any two bath homes out here, only 1.5. Then there are no fireplaces, unless she bought an artificial one. This place is so raggedy. I am anticipating my lease being up so I can get out of here. I was only here because it was convient to work and school and since I have graduated it is time to pack. I have been in two different apartments...roaches out of control, was without heat for half of the winter (and it was cold as hell), air conditioner only cools of the downstairs (so be sure to bring sleeping bags), both apartments had problems with leaking faucets (which inflated my gas bill because of the hot water), both apartments had the ceilings about to cave in, the cabinets and countertops are not kid friendly (don't stay closed, chipping paint), the parking is ridiculous, the price is not worth it, the neighborhood is shotty and full of crime, the lake is dirty, the playground is pitiful, the pool only opens the last week in August, security harasses your guests, maintenance doesn't fix anything unless you threaten to take them to court, there are no screens in the windows (and forget asking for some), the windows are in horrible condition (drafty in the wintertime, leaking when it rains), this is the worst place I have ever lived and I grew up in the projects!

Response #2- You are talking about another apartment community. This Regency Lakes is on Monument Rd and has since changed names. But they do have 2b/2b apt and they are not raggedy at all and I agree with the first review. I worked and lived here for almost 5 years and this is one of my favorite properties in Jacksonville.From my understanding they have went thru a major upgrade and turned condo and now renting apts again. I have heard they are gorgeous - I think there new name is Bella Terraza.... I just dont want them to get a bad rap because somebody posted a comment to the wrong Apartment community. I just drove by them the other day and they are beautiful..
