I have lived at the Registry for over a year as I am building a new home and living here until it is finished. All housing is going to have it's unique issues, but overall the Registry is a great place to be. It is a safe community about 8 minutes, from the beach, 5 minutes from UNF, 8 minutes from Tinseltown and ST Johns Mall. The complex is clean, has a nice pool, some fun parties, lighted parking, a good maintenance staff, the front office is flexible and helpful when concerns arise. The housing is quiet, the neighbors for the most part are friendly and respectful. I am sure there are one off situations where things go wrong, people are loud, something breaks, etc. But overall the experience is very good. Having lived in several complexes over the years when I am in-between homes, I have to say this has been a great experience. As for the negative comments. I would say when looking at them look for trends, not one off, or negative comments not supported with an information to back up the claims. I never write reviews, but I saw a couple of negative ones that just seem so out of place. Anyway if you have questions, send me a note. Good luck in your search.
