My wife and I cannot not be happier that we finally moved out of here.
We both had read all of the good and bad comments about The Registry, and like most things on the internet, we took them with a grain of salt. The staff seemed nice enough, and the grounds looked nice when we took the tour. We took the tour during the day, the parking lot was pretty empty, and not much noise. So we decided to move in.
Well, the "fun" started the day we were moving in. The A/C stopped working while we were moving in. My wife went to the office and explained this, and they said that a maintenance person would come by as soon as they could. While she was at the office, I heard some music coming from the guest room, well, it wasn't from OUR guest room, it was coming from the guest room below us. It was the middle of the day, so I thought nothing of it.
We continued moving in, and it was a bit hot, and the maintenance person still had not shown up. My wife went back to the office, which was closed now. So I called the office and got hold of the answering service. They informed me that the A/C being out was not an emergency and that they would not contact the staff unless it was an emergency. We figured that we would go take a dip in the pool to cool off.
We headed to the pool. There were about 15 or 20 college-aged students drinking and carrying on, diving in the pool and openly drinking out of beer bottles, so we didn't stay long. As we walk back into our unit, we could hear the music from downstairs. We rinsed off and started to get ready for bed, and the music never quieted down. We thought that might have not known that somebody had moved in above them, so I went down to ask them to turn the music down.
I went downstairs and knocked on the door, and nobody answered. Then I knocked again, again no answer. As I start to walk up stairs, somebody came out and was heading to the parking lot. I asked them if they were our downstairs neighbor and they said that they were not. As the person that just exited the unit continued to get in their car and drive away, I headed back downstairs and knocked on the door again. Somebody answered the door. I could see straight into the unit and could see people openly smoking out of a water bong and there was trash everywhere. The person asked me what I wanted. I explained that my wife and I just moved in upstairs and asked if they could turn the music down. They explained that they did not live there, so I asked to speak with the resident of the unit and they slammed the door in my face.
This was just the first day. We continued to have problems with our A/C and management would never deal with our downstairs neighbor. We asked if we could break or lease if they would not assist us with a comfortable living environment and they said that that would not be a problem, but that we had to pay for two months rent...this was still our first week.
All I can say is to remember, there are a lot of complaints about this place, and my wife and I both know now why.
Please take into consideration every bad thing you read or hear about this place, because, most likely it's true.
Good Luck, I truely hope you don't make the same mistake that my wife and I made.

I am curious why you didn't call the police if you observed a "bong" in use. Also, why didn't you call the office to let them know about the supposed party? That is why they are there-- to help you if you have a problem. They can't fix it if they don't know about it.
Did you give them a chance to make any of your complaints right? Probably not. I'm glad you are gone-- I like living in this community with nice, easy-going neighbors. I'm glad you didn't live in my building.
To those of you looking at apartments, don't believe this idiot. I have lived here for 3 years now & have loved every minute of it! I wouldn't stay here if things like this guy described were going on...

Well, since you obviously work in the front office, you know that you were contacted and you told my wife and I that "you need to call the police, I am only a leasing agent".
I have be reading the responses to the negative feedback, and it's quite obvious that the people that work in the front office are trying to discredit these bad reviews by pretending to be current residents.
This is kind of shady and unprofessional experience that you will be provided with if you move to the Registry.
If you are reading these reviews to decide if it is worth your hard-earned money to live in these apartments, you obviously are worried about your piece of mind and protecting your family, so you can make up your own mind. Just remember, if there are this many bad responses and faux-good responses, then that should let you know what kind of place this is.
