I lived here earlier this year while on temporary assignment in Jacksonville. I hadn't lived in an apartment in years, so I had forgotten what apartment life was like.

After moving on to another assignment, I realized what an amazing apartment The Reserve is! For proof, compare this to Runaway Bay Apts. in Virginia Beach, VA.

At the Reserve, the staff was always friendly and helpful. The grounds were decent, although in fairness, there are some inconsiderate dog owners there that do not always clean up after their dogs.

My 1 BR, 1 BA apt. was spacious, recently renovated (within the past few years) and I usually got to park right outside my apt. door. They have special boxes that the Postman can leave bigger packages in, so you can get them even after the office is closed.

The complex is very convenient to several shopping plazas and strip malls (but I suspect that all of Jax is').

The gate didn't always work properly, but it seemed to be a very secure, quiet neighborhood for the four months that I was there.

The only noise problem that I had was that my neighbors had their stereo speakers right next to my bedroom wall, but they kindly corrected that after I asked them to please adjust their bass.

And, my unit had W/D, which was great! I wish all apt. communities were this decent.
