Appartments in james Island are nice and spacious, but noise is awful, you can hear your neighbours. When we moved last year we saw tons of roaches and silver fish moving around in the appartment which we never saw before. We called the pest control hired by the complex but it was not much help. If you are moving in, please be prepared to see giant coacroaches and noise from your neighbor. Management seems irresponsible and doesn't seem to keep promises like yoga classes and aerobics lessons they promised when we signed the lease. Additional they will claim they have video library, but it has 4-5 old movies. One more thing in their buisness center you will never find paper in the printer and the copier machine. Pool usuage is seasonal as the temperature is not regulated, and pool door which connects to the gym you will find most of the time locked and you have to go around the whole leasing comple to access gym. Hope you have good time when you plan to move.
