Late in returning deposits

Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2005
We moved out in April. Midway through June, and we are still fighting them to send us our deposit. On four different occasions, they have said they would call us back, and have not done so. Upon follow up, we have been told TWICE that they have put a "rush" on it and that it was being FedEx'ed to us. They have told us not to call them back, but that they would call us...
Obviously not...
2004 Florida statute Title VI, Chapter 83.49 says they have 30 days. The attorney general's office will be next. Check out www.flsenate.gov to learn more. Be sure you know your rights...
