I moved to Riverbend in Septmeber 2007 and I hate it! My heating unit has not worked since November and its now January and I still have NO Heat! My car was broken into and when a neighbor contacted the leasing office, she was advised that there was nothing that could be done. I understand that they cannot protect against car theft but we have our tag number on the lease, they could have contacted us and let us know that our car was burglarized. The maintenance guy fixed my freezer and cut his arm and left dried blood in the freezer! The office staff is very rude! I have filed a formal complaint with the city of jacksonville, Pinnacle, and Riverbend apartments! DO NOT MOVE HERE! WORST PLACE EVER!

I have to admit I feel the same way- I have been here since Christmas and there is NOTHING good in this apartment complex. I'm a single mother, I see drug deals going on ALL AROUND me from the maintenance guys buying drugs from the local dealers to the dealers fighting one another. I have called to have work done on my apartment for 7 MONTHS and still NOTHING- I always get some lousey ass excuse. I'M OVER IT!! It is sad that I have had to move my 3 year old to the master bedroom so that I know at night no one is going to do a drive by and hit her. You hear gun fire all hours of the night and did I mention the DRUG DEALERS? I can think of one that has atleast 4 apartments out here- do you see something wrong? This place use to be such a great place to live what the hell happened? Our property manager has been beaten up to the point she was in the hospital and stepped down in her position. and what about the damn gates? At what price will it take for the office to get off of thier lazy butts and get them fixed? 2 people have already been killed out here in the last month and PLENTY of people have been robbed. I'm not saying fixing the gates is going to keep the crime out, but it sure is going to help. I WANT OUT AND STILL HAVE ATLEAST 1/2 OF MY LEASE LEFT!!! WHAT CAN I DO?

I feel you....this place is so falsly advertised. It is unsafe and no body has any respect for anybody! who the heck owns this property....are they crazy???....they are losing so much money...nobody stays here...smart,respectable people who get tricked into this hellhole leave after there lease is up...can't they tell with all the empty apts that there is a problem here....the apts are a piece of junk and everything breaks and nobody fixes anything...so unsafe!!! wow I didn't know the property manager got beat up and hospitalized...wow this place just get worse and worse!!!!I am with you...can't wait till my least is up to leave and leave the hood for the hood!!!

oh, and P.S. I left before my lease was up. It was worth the money.
