I am scare to write this becasue right now I am loving river ity Landing and I hope and pray that nothing change my mind. Compared to the Plaza Apartment this apartment is very nicve. I have a lot of space and peace. I can go outside on my balcony in the day time and see he duck swin in the lake or go out a night and look at the stars it is a beautiful sight. We have had two maintence probelsm and they were fixed immediatley and I like that becaude one of them had to do with our air. I have actually seen security and JSO patroling the complex late at night and I like that. The one thing I don't like is parking becasue I have a little walk to my apartment and they need extra lighting for some of the parking area. I also wish that the grounds were kept a little bit better. The grass is sometimes to high and it doesn't look. I don't know much about the front office staff. Overall, my experience has been good. I will write again in 6 months and let you know of any changes.

I'm moving to Jacksonville in a few months from Las Vegas, QUITE A CHANGE!! But I really am in search for a good apartment between 500 and 600 somewhere near UNF. Has this apartment improved? I'm only 20years old so I want to feel safe!

I live here now and have been here for a few years.
It's a decent place, and there is security.
I notice that it is actually 24 hours now.
The pools are okay, and the apartments are too.
Jax University College is right across the street, cvs and stores are walking distance.
There were roaches but now it's been taken care of and I hardly see them. Don't forget this is florida after all. But I still hate bugs, well if they are near me, or want to get on me rather.
It isn't the best in the world but by no means the worst. People mostly mind their own business. There can be loud music at times, and such, but oh well, you know!
It depends on who lives above or below. Cars drive by with loud music but hey! City living. This isn't the suburbs. It's clean for the most part, and you will be safe.
You are close to lot's of things and only minutes from downtown. Take a month to month lease, 6mos lease when you first move in and see if you like it or not. It isn't perfect, but it's decent.
I guess it all depends on what you are used to. If you don't have a lot of money, this is just fine. The water and geese are my fav, with a big pretty fountain, it's peaceful. There are balconies and they are decent, it's pretty with the trees and the landscaping flowers.
And believe me they take care of the property, the noise makes me sick at times, but I work nights and sleep days.
