I am currently a resident at River Reach for the last year, and I love where I live. I have a two bedroom apartment, almost 1300 sq. ft. looking over the St. Johns River on the 3rd floor. You cannot buy this kind of charm or character any place else in JAX. I literally look forward to going home every night! The complex is nestled among tall trees with hanging moss, and has to be the quietest place in JAX. The residents, which includes the staff, are friendly and helpful. When I ask for a repair, it's done right away, even if someone has to wake up to help me. I just cannot say enough about River Reach. It's the first time in my life that I lived on my own, in an apartment, and I'm more than comfortable, I feel safe, and I always feel right at home as though I've lived here my whole life. Don't put too much stock in the negative comments. Admittedly, this is an older apartment complex (30 years'), and repairs do need to be made perhaps more often than the newer ones, but management IS receptive. Additionally, management is proactive about making improvements, not just letting things break down. It's a great place to live, and good people run the community. Why wouldn't they' After all, they live there, too!
