Apparently the JEA electrical box on the outside of the building was too hot and caught fire. It burned through the outside wall into our apartment which happened to be our closet. We lost all our clothes, furniture and had our dog not been on the front porch barking to alert neighbors we would have lost our pets. Management said earlier that day they had smelt something burning but thought nothing of it. We had to hire an attorney and once their legal stepped in they made it clear they would fight us to the end. Obviously we had no home or belongings so the last thing we could afford was legal fees and couldn't take it all the way to the top. We lost everything and we didn't even get an apology..........

I feel your pain. We too have had numerous problems with living in this complex. I would suggest to you looking first at www.jaxlegalaid.org and then the Better Business Bureau at www.bbb.org . I hope one of these agencies can help you. It is horribly wrong what they are doing to you. Sadly, I'm not surprised.
