So I've been here for a little over 4 years... now don't misunderstand that, its not because I like the place, its simply because I'm tired of moving and am willing to put up with the problems here.

1) Management changes with the seasons. I only go to the office a few times a year but EVERY time there are different people there.

2) Old construction. These are WOOD CONSTRUCTION apartments. You WILL hear your neighbor's music, slamming doors, loud voices/yelling, ect... but that isn't all. I am in a 2nd floor apt in a 3 floor building. My new upstairs neighbor weighs about 400 lbs.. I HEAR EVERY FOOTSTEP THEY TAKE IN THEIR APT, EVERY ONE. If you don't want to hear your neighbors then do not live here.

3) Office staff will do nothing to resolve noise issues with neighbors. When I moved in I was basically told not to disturb people because after 3 noise complaints I would be evicted. HA. I had filed 5 noise complaints about a downstairs neighbor... thinking the office had contacted them each time I went down and confronted them one day, which almost led to an all-out fight. Come to find out the office NEVER ONCE contacted them and had NO RECORD of me ever making a complaint. Basically if you have an issue with someone they say call the cops or live with it, that they have no responsibility.

4) Rent/bills: For what they charge here you can easily find an equal size CONCRETE constructed apt where you will at least not hear everything that happens around you. On top of the very high rent they also bill water/sewer by bulk. This means they basically get charged XX dollars for the entire complex by the water company, then they hire a company to divide up the total and send each apt a bill, and the resident is stuck with service fees from this company so they can do this.

Overall the worst apt I have ever lived in (And this is my 5th apt in the Jacksonville area). I'll be terminating my lease soon and moving out due to the noise from neighbors that I simply cannot take anymore. Oh, and beware of some of these rave reviews you read... after having lived here for this long some of the recent ones I read SCREAM that they were written by office management.
