I have been living at Royal Oaks for 4 months now. I chose one of the renovated apartments, which are pretty nice. Its a clean, fairly quiet, nice community, not anything lavish, but good for the price and area. I don't hear a lot of noise from neighbors, but you can hear water running through the walls from people above you showering, but it isn't annoyingly loud and I never really notice it anymore. Some noise is obviously to be expected, it's an apartment. The management and maintenance staff are great. I have had a few minor maintenance requests and they were both taken care of right away.
