Sail Cove

I live in a 2 bedroom model here at Sail Cove and the floorplan is excellent, feels very much like a house because of the openess and space. I have a huge screened porch, which gets used a lot, especially with pets. The walk-in closets are big, and the kitchens are very nice with all white cabinets and appliances. Fully equipped with full size washer and dryers. The Master bedroom has a good size bathroom with double sinks and garden tub. This was my first time living in an apartment and I was worried I wouldn't have enough space or the noise would get annoying living so close to other households but that's not the case at all. I live on the first floor and the only noise that's enough to notice is when they open their sliding glass door above us and the occasional thump (22 year old guys live up there lol) but it doesn't bother me. The people/management are very friendly and helpful. The maintenance team responds surprisingly quick to service calls. The apartments look very nice inside and out. There are different paint themes depending on which unit is available and alternating fire places or built in wall entertainment centers. I really like the colors and angles of the walls, feels very much like a brand new home. The grounds are really pretty, lots of flowers and trees and the lake is a perfect back drop for those florida afternoons out @ the pool. A barbeque pit and picnic tables are out by the pool also. There is a dock onto the lake with some canoes and paddle boats for residents to use. The lake is open for fishing to residents as well. The clubhouse is open to residents personal parties, pretty nice inside. The Tennis courts are nice and the exercise room is pretty good. A couple things I do wish they had is maybe a business center with computer and internet access and a basketball court. Oh and the parking has NEVER been a problem, there is always a close space available.

As far as location, I love it. Southside Jacksonville is such a growing community with a LOT to offer. Currently a mall (which I've heard is going to be almost identical to Tampa International) is being built just a few feet down the road from here.
