San Juan Villas North & South

Save your money unless you were just released from jail From: lostnjax Date posted: 9/9/2005 Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2005   San Juan Villas North & South. One which used to be Cedar Hollow is where I lived. It is impossible to get Mgmt to fix anything. I had a leak in my ceiling of my closet and the Maintenance guy/Manager (Roger) told me to put a bucket under the leak temporarily until it could be fixed. 8 months later the bucket was still there after several reminders. Roger has since been fired or resigned. The pool is never opened due to an ongoing bacteria problem. There are a number of safety issues as well. The complex is a magnet for the local drug dealers after dark and there are often huge fights at the bar accross the street (biker bar)where someone was shot and killed 5 months ago which was 2 months after a fatal stabbing. Check with local Sherrif's office to to find that there were 12 cars burgularized and 7 stolen from this apartment complex alone in the past 12 months. They even hired a security guard (Trey) which was arrested for not being registered as a sex offender. They have very outdated apartments and very noisy air conditioning units. Probably one of the few complexes in the area that does not offer a dishwasher or respectable laundry room. I stayed there one year and never saw an exterminator so bugs and roaches were rampant. So stay away if you can
