Be very careful before you sign that application! I did the same as you and was very impressed that this property didn't have the same "feel" as other apartment communities. I was taken in by the residentail ambiance and the fact that there were no people loitering in doorways and in the street, hanging out by the cars. I also was impressed that during the day most the cars were gone, meaning that most residents were at work! I fell for it and so moved right in. Mistake!! These apartments are bug infested! Although the lady in the office is very pretty and extremely sweet, she is a black widow in a prom dress, so watch out! She is conniving! She also has her favorites and woe be you if you aren't one of them! As an aside, the train runs very frequently and loudly day and night and is extremely close to the back fence near the office and pool. Horrible!! Keep looking sweetie! This place is awful!!

The owner had to pay someone to post this comment. Maintenance here is far from top notch and as for professionalism the manager nor the owner doesn't even know what it means.

Bob (the owner) and Christina (the office manager) are far from professional. Christina is NOT a "true real estate professional", she barely knows the ropes and just started not but a few months ago and uses San Marco Village as her real estate office. They do not work hard to keep the place clean, they can barely keep maintenence staff employed. When Eric was fired from his maintenence position, some mexican came in to work (probably for three times cheaper then Eric) and he isn't worth a dang because his english is so broken you can't tell him anything about what you need. They HAD a courtesy officer working there, but when you needed him, he would show up on your doorstep drunk. The assistant that Christina uses, his name is Kenny, has mental problems and lives there rent free due to some charity thing he gets, but he likes to harass the women who move in. The only way you are going to get nice treatment there is if you get in good with Christina, Bob or Kenny. There is a lady living here with one of her sons, and her son is allowed to pitch camping tents in between the building she lives in and the other building and leave it there all day and night for a week with nothing said to them. But heaven forbid you move a park bench from in the middle of a fire ant infested yard closer to somewhere where you won't get eaten alive. It's all about being teacher's pet in "Hooters"ville at San Marco Village.
