Not too bad

I've been living here for almost 3 years. I moved here b/c the location is wonderful, especially if you go to UNF or FCCJ. The quality and size of the apartments aren't that great. The towel racks fall off the walls occasionally and the a/c broke 3 times, but the apts aren't brand new so you get what you pay for. If you live there currently and want to transfer to a larger apt the staff is willing to work with you on the price. Staff has always been very nice to us. The maintanence responds fairly quickly. The area is safe, some buildings aren't kept up as nicely as others. Try to aim for buildings in the north part of the complex. Parking can be an issue depending on what building you live in, but you can usually find parking right near your building. The roach problem is a big issue. Nothing will get rid of them. The walls are thin enough that i can smell the cigarette smoke from my neighbor. A new negative is the 9a connector they are building behind the complex. You can hear the construction, but you just get used to the noise. Could be worse when the road is actually open. They dont have any walls built yet to separate the complex from the road. Basically this place is great while you are in school and if you are trying to save some money, but after that it's time to look for another place!
