I currently live at Silver Springs and CANNOT wait until my lease is over - Iwish I would have read some of the reviews before moving in. The crime is horrible, someone was murdered on Jan 1st and so many break ins. I am scared all the time. The staff acts like its no big deal oh we will get the police to do more drive throughs etc. I saw the onsite security staff drinking beer one night at the pool - isn't that nice' Oh and the roaches are horrible - I keep a clean place and have never had this kind of problem. The maintenance staff brought some roach traps and they were full within 2 days. Funny how the staff members are so nice when you are looking to move in and once the lease is signed thats it - they could care less about you from there. I had a banking and paycheck deposit problem and couldn't pay my rent until the 17th of the month - I was threatened with eviction and an additional $400 charge - mind you for over 6 months I never was late. Also they would not except any partial payments I had $500 to give (rent is $650) until my finances were fixed but they would not except it - basically they were like oh well your rent has to be paid by the 15th or we will evict you and if you pay on the 16th then you have an additional $400 fee. I really wish there was a way to get out of this crime and roach infested hell!!

I agree this place is a dump!! And the office staff stinks. And that girl Alicia is such a -----. Hold on to your husbands ladies, she likes them married.

Tell me about it my bath tub has had a leak in it for i would say 2 months now.. and the same guy just keeps coming back and putting silicon in the places where water cant even get in and he just says well next time call us while it is leaking.. Maybe if they were fast enough. and the new manager dont even wanna start on her.. And just this past weekend a guy murdered his wife in their apartment.. WOW!!!
