I have lived here going on my third year now. Let me tell you what its really like here. When I first viewed the apartment I was going to move into I had made a comment about the tub being nasty, so guess what they did...they decided to paint the tub, yes..I said paint the tub..and now two years later the paint is chiping from daily use and is clogging the drain and not allowing the water to drain..talk about ghetto. The day I moved in the refrigerator that was in the unit did not work. The apartment is quite old and the windows appear to never have been replaced, mine will leak water when it rains so beware of hurricane season. Naturally the paint is chipping along the window now and the wall is flimsy ..you can push the wall and watch it sink in. Being that I have been put in a bottom apartment many things are going wrong. Oh, but where to start....
Oh my water leaking problem...Im waiting for my whole apartment to be under water. About a year ago I was blessed with a water leaking issue in my bathroom...They keep doing temporary patches and fixes to the ceiling to make it cosmetically look good, but do you think this solves a water leak in the walls that now is damaging everything in the unit. There is now water damage on the trimming in the kitchen, in the hallway and in the bathroom on the floor. Mold an mildew are growing because with the permanent leak that they will not fix it growing where you can not clean and the carpet is developing a smell. Everytime I walk through my hallway it soaked in water and squishes when I walk on it.I have not figured out if that leak is the same as the bathroom or the water is leaking in from somewhere else. One day I was on my computer in my bedroom and noticed a pooring sound in my bathroom. I get up and find literally a rain storm in my bathroom soaking and ruining everything in my bathroom. Oh did I mention the kid that cries and throw fits that im forced to listen to her run back and forth acros the floor...thup thup thup thup thup...all day and all night. And there loud dog that barks continuously at 2 and 3 am. Dont tell the office though, they will just tell you people have kids its normal for you not to sleep at night because of rude neighbors. The walls are very thin, oh the personal stories I can tell about people and the noises couples make together late at night.
Now for the outside. I have noticed they are advertising a fitness center in their ad...let me tell you a secret I live here their is no fitness center built as of yet....lol. This is a gated community but ...woops the gates have not worked in the whole time I have lived here, dont let them fool you. If you work late or happen to work full time and take night classes be prepared there is never any parking left. Oh did I mention everytime the wind blows for some reason I loose power so my power goes on and off...I have to keep resetting all my clocks tv..vcr..etc you get the picture. It sucks when you are late for work cause power went out while you were sleeping. Be careful when you drive in there are a lot of unattended kids bicycling around and loud thumping ghetto music playing loud. Your neighbors feel the need to blast their stereo to make sure you get a taste of their music. There is only one very small pool and you can never swim in it because its always full of kids, and friends of thiers, and friends of those kids...hey its the whole neighborhood pool for every kid not just the people who rent there.

Now I am not someone to complain...I am someone who is very stable and I have been at the same job for 6 years. I pay my rent and bills on time every month. I am the perfect resident. I keep quiet and to myself. This place is a nightmare. I hate moving but I am so miserable they have literally forced me out. I can not remain living like this.$575.00 is too much rent to pay for all this.

Just beware before you decide to move and live here.

Very sad. Buy your own home. Don't be a loser like the rest of the fools who live in this crap hole.
