Not a Terrible Choice

I have lived here for about 8 months now. I do agree while this apt is not in the best part of town, it is what it is. The buildings are quite old, especially what is called phase I which faces Monument Rd. The appliances are very dated, and water pressure is a hit and miss. I constantly have to start and stop my shower faucet until I can get a steady hard stream to come out. Its basically pretty quiet and is located near some good eateries and I have walked to them at night and never had any problems. Management staff is pretty good. They are undergoing some renovations and replaced the roofs of most of the apartments and painted the buildings (although for the most part, that was a half a** job and not one I would have paid for - they neglected to follow up with painting the bottoms of walls, porches etc. Parking is first come, first park but not very bad, you can hear the footsteps above you, and the grounds are well kept. For the most part, if convience to the Mall (ha-Regency-double ha) and resturants and downtown are what your are looking for, you could do worse. You could do better also.
