Don't move in

The apartments are old and wearing down. For example, the air conditioning units are disgusting and very loud when turned on, the kitchen cabinets and refrigerators are very old and need to be replaced. Bugs are another problem, probably because the apartments are so old that things are deteriorating and they're getting in. These are outside roaches and spiders that are getting in, so their bigger than normal house pests. The biggest thing that gets on my nerves are the thin walls here. You can hear EVERYTHING! I live on the first floor and the person who lives above me is very loud when he's home. Constant stomping and noises are always heard. You can hear people having conversations next door, kitchen cabinets closing, and shower's being taken. It's just unbearable at times. I feel sorry for the people who have to live under families with kids. If you do decide to move in here get an apartment on the 3rd floor so there's nobody living above you, trust me you don't want to have to deal with this, the walls are very thin!! No problems with maintenance or car break-ins for me, but the people here are very questionable, if you know what I mean.

My question to people who bash apartments that they themselves chose to live in; is this your first apartment??? Did they show you your apartment with new appliances and then change them out with old ones once you signed your lease? lol. I personally don't want to pay $800 for a one bedroom just because it looks like a sears catalog. My appliances were hardly new when I moved in, more like 15 years old, but my fridge keeps my beer cold and my stove and oven still cook my dinner and I can still afford to put food in em so why complain? And thin walls? can you say a-p-a-r-t-m-e-n-t? Don't trash my home please. Thank you.
