I am a current resident since Aug 06. It is sad to say that that cooperation from the HOA is very difficult to obtain. I have a child who spends most of the time in the basketball court, along with other kids who do not live in the community, especially the most frequented kids from Plantation apartments, who occupy the court as if it were there, this is a private community and if they are not a guest they shouldnt be here. Our HOA fees went up $90 before the fees went up we had a security guard on premises, since it went up we no longer have a security guard. and now more incidents have occured especially at the basketball court & the indoor pool. When this is addressed int the monthly meetings, the only response from HOA is call the police. That is easy to say when the only ones who do not attend the HOA to help in these issues are the parents of the kids who live @ the colony, they are mostly from other countries, do not understand the language which makes it difficult to get through HOA & have them understand the importance of avoiding these people from Plantation to keep off our property so our children/owners can enjoy the premises of our community. Any way I am trying to sell my property to get out of this place since property management shows no interest in resolving this issue. So save your money it is not worth it. I have given up in keep calling the police.
