I moved here from out of state in August 2006. From the day I came to tour the complex- I was impressed.
Although the lease rates are steep, I have enjoy my experiece so far.
THINGS to CONSIDER before MOVING here:
* MUST have proof of Renter's insurance when you move in (nothing less than a $50,000 coverage plan)
* Kitchens are really small and closet space is limited.
* Kitchen does NOT have large enough draws for your utensils and most cabinets are so high I need a step stool for everything.
* The security gate break down OFTEN.(has never closed since I have been there)
* Lots of kids in the neighborhood (since they offer 3 bedrooms)
* Only one lock on your front door w/ no ability to install another for extra security.
* Appliances are dated and since the kitchen is small - there is no place to put a microwave.
* Hot tub has never worked
* Can require a HIGH deposit (like 1st month rent) if credit standing is not great.
Ask them about preferred employer's program to get some money knocked off the deposit.
Other than that... I've been happy
