Since management accused me of writing a review that I did not write, I am writing one now. I previously wrote that since the new owners took over, things were better. I am rethinking that statement now. Just because they took over and put in some plants and painted the parking lot with some tar paint doesn't mean that things are "better". I agree with the other posters...the children that live in building 28 are the same boys that call themselves "The Georgia Boys" (and one girl). Believe it or not, they are all under 12 years old, and they are vicious, destructive, foul mouthed and mean. They vandalize and torment the other children, and adults. I personally have had to get an injunction (restraining order) against their mother who directed them to attack me and my son. Their Pit Bull, which isn ot allowed in these apartments per rnetal agreement, killed another tenants small dog. I am urging all of you, if you see something going on, call the police. After the month of June 2007, we won't have the police patrol at night any longer. The new management feel that it's a waste of money and they have cancelled the contract with the police. I wonder if this "Neighborhood Watch" that the new owners posted signs for truly exists...If you see children littering, tell them to pick it up. If you see them beating up on another child, STOP them. If you have neighbors who are selling drugs, call the police, REPORT THEM. But for the love of God, don't DO NOTHING!

Check out Florida Statute 83...the Landlord and Tenant Act
http://www.flsenate.gov/Statutes/index.cfmApp_mode=Display_Statute&Search_String=&URL=Ch0083/PART02.HTM
Pay special attention to sections 83.51 and 83.52 which states that the tenants will"(6) Not destroy, deface, damage, impair, or remove any part of the premises or property therein belonging to the landlord nor permit any person to do so. 7) Conduct himself or herself, and require other persons on the premises with his or her consent to conduct themselves, in a manner that does not unreasonably disturb the tenant's neighbors or constitute a breach of the peace." Educate yourselves in your rights, and follow the statutes, or choose to live in the ghetto. It's your choice.
