Victoria Park Apartments has violated the uniform deceptive trade practices act. They advertise in the October issue of (For Rent)that they offer, (A refreshing swim in one of our 2 pools), the pools are disgusting and dirty and have been for more than a year. They claim to have an A/C racquetball court when in fact the A/C has not worked for years. They say that after a (Vigorous game of tennis or racquetball relieve tension and stiff muscles in the whirlpool and Jacuzzi)when in fact nether the whirlpool or the jacuzzi have worked for over a year and they are full of green water. And wheres the (Barney's coffee shop)' Or and let's talk about the (Controlled Access), or the (Breed Restrictions on pets) they are nonexistent, there are way too many Pitt bulls and other violent breads here, it's not safe. They also speak of the peaceful lake they just fail to mention the ALLIGATOR! All of this is false advertising under the Uniform Deceptive Trade Practices Act, cut and dry, period! The management, district manager and home office in California all know these advertised amenities to be defective, inoperative and are representing these to be in a good state of repair and of a particular quality when they know, have known that they are not. It might behoove one to correct the problems, someone might get the idea to turn you in for deceptive trade practices.
